Apply for Reception 2027

If your child is eligible for a school reception place September 2027, applications for Reception is live on the Solihull portal and the closing date is 15th January 2027. Parents need to apply on the portal under the home authority that they live within. 

Please be reminded that children currently attending our nursery do not automatically transfer to our Reception and applications have to be submitted.

Nursery Admissions 2027 – 2028 

Tudor Grange Primary Academy Langley are responsible for managing admissions for their Nursery class. Nursery provision at TGPA Langley is for children 3 and 4 years of age. Please see the information below for more information on how to apply directly through Tudor Grange Primary Academy Langley.  

If your child is 3 years old by 31^st August 2027, they are eligible to start the Nursery class which runs from: 

8:55am to 11:55pm term time only – 15-hours provision – Monday – Friday 

8.55am to 2.55pm term time only – 30-hour provision – Monday – Friday 

How to apply 2027 – 2028 

Nursery provision at Langley is for children of 3 and 4 years of age. 

All 3 to 4-year-olds are eligible for 15 hours free early education/ childcare. This is taken as three hours per day in the morning. 

Some 3 to 4-year-olds are eligible for 30 hours free early education/ childcare a week. 

If you require more than 15 hours and are not eligible for 30 hours free early education/ childcare, you can pay for extra childcare.  

If you require more than 30 hours childcare this can be further topped up using our ‘wrap-around’ service.

Closing date for applications forms is Friday 18^th December 2026 

Families will be notified if they have been allocated a place on Friday 29^th January 2027 via the email address provided on the application form. 

All applications received before or by 4:00 pm on Friday 18^th December 2026 will be considered in line with the priority criteria listed in the Nursery Admissions Policy 2027.
