As part of our Religious Studies curriculum, we visited Guru Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick to learn about Sikh traditions and values. We experienced a peaceful prayer service in the main hall and learned about the importance of equality and selfless service in Sikhism.

We also enjoyed Langar — a free community meal — and tasted traditional vegetarian dishes like lentils, mixed vegetable curry, chapatti, sweet rice, and rice pudding. The visit gave us a deeper appreciation for Sikh culture.
