As year 6 continue with their science topic of light ‘How do we see things?’, this weeks focus looked at transparent, opaque and translucent objects. Leading their own investigation into how light travels through these various objects, they formed a hypothesis, made scientific observations, recorded their results, analysed and shared their results before forming a scientific conclusion.

They used these findings to design and make an effective sun catcher ensuring they used all three types of material.
