Year 6 have continued exploring the circulation system and today made blood smoothies. Children used Water, raspberries, marshmallows and glitter to represent: plasma, platelets, red blood cells and white blood cells.

Children worked together to calculate the percentages of each component to create a realistic, blood-like formula.
