Today year 6 were exploring what jobs were available in the 1800’s. The children compared census data from the same year but in different areas to compare the different occupations. Then in small groups they were presented with a variety of character profiles and job adverts in which they had to match to the appropriate skills. Not only did they learn a lot about job opportunities but demonstrated excellent team work.
