In DT this half term, year 6 have been designing and making bags out of an old pair of jeans. As part of the unit they have learnt skills such as: design ideas, making a pattern, types of stitches and adding extra detail. The bags looked fantastic and I believe we have some aspiring fashion designers of the future!
