Painting & mixed media: Portraits

The children used a photo of themselves to first create a self-portrait using one continous line.

Then they placed tracing paper over their portrait, the children copied a piece of text onto the tracing paper, writing the words on top of the lines from their self-portrait underneath. The words then became an outline of their face.
