On Tuesday 14th October, we celebrated Environment Day — marking the anniversary of the 1977 Tbilisi Conference, a landmark moment in global environmental education.

Children and staff came dressed in every shade of green to show their support for protecting our planet. Each year group took part in a creative “Recycled Flag Project,” designing flags from reused and recycled materials linked to their geography topics. From bottle tops and cardboard to fabric scraps and foil, pupils found inventive ways to transform waste into something wonderful!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, our Green Day non-uniform donations raised an amazing £204.75, which will go towards developing our school vegetable garden — helping us grow, learn, and continue our eco journey together.
