National Grid engineers came to visit us for British Science Week. In Year 1 & 2 we had workshops about what engineers do and the equipment they use. We found out lots about how electricity is transported around the country to our homes.

In Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 we did a workshop called ‘Energy Savers’. The children did an energy survey of our school and talked about how we can conserve energy in school and in our homes. The children then did some fantastic posters to teach others about what they had learnt.
