On Tuesday 25th February, Year 6 began their new Design and technology unit called ‘Come Dine with Me’. During this half term the children will design their own 3 course meal, research recipes, define skills and cook their chosen food. We began by looking at the 5 basic tastes and pairing these to find complimentary flavours. We soon discovered who had a sweet tooth and who preferred savoury. Master chef watch this space.
