This term in Year 6 we have been studying a variety of artists such as John Singer Sargent, David Hockley and Paula Rego. Today as part of their final assessment they were asked to create a piece of art from sketchbook drawings and artist research. The children were then able to have full creative license to create a piece of art inspired by an artist of their choice using a technique of their choice. This ranged from Picasso to John Dyer – water colours to digital images. The children applied their knowledge wonderfully and created art worthy of a gallery!
