In year 6 we have been learning about the impact of WWII on the people of Great Britain. Today the focus was on the experiences of the evacuee children and their stories once they were sent away to the countryside.

We explored the feelings, thoughts and facial expressions of the evacuees before working in groups to produce a freeze frame of what the children would have looked like when they reached their new homes/destination.
