On Tuesday 21st January, the year 5/6 football team played their first game of the tournament. All of the boys were excited and eager to get on the pitch. They played 2 matches in total. winning their first game and losing the second. Match report below written by the team.

FOOTBALL REPORT 

The first game was against Valley and we won 4-0. Andrew scored 2 goals, Jack scored 1 goal, Grayson scored 1 goal. Alex was GK, Albie was LCB, Frank was RCB, Aref was CM, Jack was LW, Grayson was RW, Andrew was ST. Everyone was happy after the win. 

Our second game was against Monkspath. We lost 4-1. We had the same formation. Grayson scored a tap in, but a goal is a goal! In the first half it was 1-1 because Grayson also scored a half volley, top corner, Own goal. In the second half, Frank scored 2 own goals but the first one did not go in.  

The all-round experience was great. The time we had in-between the game was fun. We kept warm by   doing exercises. It was truly great. Written by Frank, Jack and Alex : )
