This half-term, 6OG have been identifying trees and their Autumn leaves. They have identified Oak, Sweet Chestnut, Field Maple, Rowen, Silver birch and Hazel amongst others, on the school site.

They have had fun in the snow, building a giant caterpillar, (called Jeffrey), rolling huge balls of snow and making a giant heart on the field.

6OG have also revised their knots; half-hitch and a Square lashing – very impressive!

Spencer has shared with us a demonstration of constructing his teams cooking tripod, that they made on residential. (We may try to boil a small can of water on it later).
