Near Solihull Centre is a wonderful area for children to play and explore, with much to offer for a fun day out.

Start at Brueton Car Park, Warwick Rd, Solihull B91 3HA (there is free parking for a certain amount of time) and walk along the lake spotting local wildlife and feeding the birds. Near the end of the lake there is an off road path that will take you further into a green area (be prepared for mud!) Fancy a different route, follow the other path and you will eventually go past Parkridge Wildlife Centre (with cafe and toilets) https://www.warwickshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/Parkridge

Keep walking, cycling or even scooting along the path and you will find tennis courts and a basketball pitch. Eventually, you will find play area with slides, swings etc. Here you can also take a short walk into Solihull Centre

There are often ice cream vans at the start and the end of the park. However, why not invite family and friends, take a picnic, a football etc and make a great day out for all. Don’t forget to climb the trees, paddle in the shallow part of the lake and play hide and seek amongst the nature.
