This afternoon, year 1 listened again to Anna Meredith’s Nautilus; however, this time, we focused on exploring sounds as images. We watched the video and then discussed how the artist had interpreted the sound and had created moving images. After the discussion, the children allowed their senses to be immersed and produced magical musical maps. Once completed, they followed the music using their own map.
